Life Science Certificate Program
Life Science certificate concentration provides students with a basic foundation in life and biological sciences essential to Life, Wellness and Human Health and Diseases. Students who graduate with this concentration may find employment in health departments, hospital and health care facility administration, marketing and public relation agencies, health maintenance organizations, counseling and patient education and health-related corporations. They can also pursue higher education in different clinical areas through appropriate admissions processes. This concentration has 5 modules with the total of 360 hrs. To successfully complete this certificate student are required to take the following modules:

   1. Anatomy and Physiology 80 hrs,              
   2. Medical Terminology 40 hrs,                  
   3. General Microbiology 80 hrs,                    
   4. Pathophysiology 80 hrs,                          
   5. Pharmacology 80 hrs,                            

Also suitable as review for students preparing for curriculum natural sciences course at University or College level. This program is offered in collaboration with Mount Eagle Institute (MEI) of NC,  MEI is approved and licensed by North Carolina Community System to offer certificate and diploma courses and programs, however, transferability of these courses to other colleges and universities will entirely depend on the recipient institution, if you intend to transfer these courses please contact the respective institution prior to enrolment.

This program is offered completely online and is self paced, completion will depend on the effort of the student to finish.

Program Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required
