Anatomy & Physiology Revealed
is an interactive cadaver dissection experience. Cadaver photos
blended with a state-of-the-art layering technique let you peel
away layers of the human body to reveal structures beneath the
surface. This easy-to-use program includes animations,
radiologic imaging, audio pronunciations, and a comprehensive
quizzing tool. |
The
four CD-ROM set includes:

REVIEW
State-of-the
art layering
Structures are grouped
in layers allowing you to see key information within each
dissection layer as you move from skin to skeleton at your
own pace. You can also adjust layers to ghost superficial
layers over the deeper layers to more effectively see
anatomical relationships.
Anatomy
Terms
Anatomy & Physiology
Revealed contains an audiovisual glossary. Each term is
demonstrated with an illustration or animation (move the
scroll bar on the image to the left.) Viewing the Plantar
flexion movement, reading the definition, and hearing the
pronunciation reinforces the learning objective.
Anatomy terms
include:
- Directional
terms
- Regional terms
- Planes of
section
- Terms of
movement
- System-specific
terms
Animations
Compelling
animations help clarify anatomical relationships or explain
difficult physiological concepts.
Imaging
Labeled X-ray, MRI,
and CT images help students learn to recognize key
anatomical structures as seen through various medical
imaging techniques.
Self-Test
A comprehensive
quizzing section lets students test their ability to
identify anatomical structures in a simulated practical
exam. Students can:
- Customize
quizzes by selecting a system, region, and test type
- Track their
progress of time spent in the quiz, questions answered,
and percentage correct.
- Review
incorrectly identified structures immediately following
the quiz (via direct links to the structures missed.)
- Email their
results to the professor or print them out to study.
